Architects are getting into the software profession

Service

Architect is a synonym for “computer engineer”.

In the 1980s, computer engineering was a highly-skilled and lucrative profession.

Now, it is becoming more and more competitive, especially in high-tech and technology-heavy industries.

This is not surprising, given the proliferation of software developers and the increasingly high demand for them.

It is also an important area of study, particularly for those with an undergraduate degree in architecture.

You might also like to know: Which careers to choose as an architect?

1.

Architecture is the profession with the most computer-related jobs.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2016, nearly half (49 per cent) of the population worked in architecture, compared to 20 per cent for computer science.

A large proportion of architecture jobs are in high technology, software engineering, architecture and related fields.

In addition, about a third of the professions in architecture involve computer science and engineering, and another third involve engineering or mathematics.

2.

Architects work in a variety of professions.

The most common occupations in architecture are architects, landscape architects, construction managers, project managers and project managers, planning and design professionals, and public-private partnerships.

However, many of the occupations in the profession are in different areas.

You can find more information about occupations in different professions in the next section.

3.

The average age of an architect is 40.

The median age of architects is 45, and there are many different professions within architecture.

In fact, it can be hard to find an architect who is completely “old”.

For instance, many architects come from families that are older than 50.

In general, an architect has been in architecture for a long time, and has been involved in the industry for a very long time.

For the purposes of this article, the average age is 40, but some architects may be older.

You will find out more about this in the previous section.

4.

Architecture has become increasingly popular in the last decade.

Architectural design has become a more popular profession in recent years, partly because of the rise of the Internet, social media, and online learning.

Some of the recent developments include: new types of data-driven design such as interactive web sites and augmented reality, new kinds of interactive software and applications, and new types and capabilities for building software.

5.

Many architects are interested in the technology and engineering professions.

Many architecture graduates are in the IT, finance, and management fields.

However of course, there are also many people in the software industry and engineering who are not necessarily in the field of architecture.

For example, in the past few years, there has been a shift from the engineering industry to the technology-focused fields, such as computer networking, networking, and cloud computing.

6.

The professions in construction and related industries tend to be male-dominated.

Construction is dominated by women, and men tend to dominate construction jobs.

The number of female architects in the US is increasing.

For instance the US Census Bureau reports that the number of women architects increased from 3,988 in 2010 to 4,926 in 2016.

7.

You should consider becoming an architect if you are looking for a career in the construction industry.

As an architect, you will need to work in the most advanced, high-risk, and demanding environments.

However if you like to be a “hands-on” professional in the development of software, architecture, and other high-technology industries, you can consider becoming a construction contractor or a construction manager.

Construction managers are the people who manage the construction of projects.

You are expected to be flexible and adaptive, with a focus on the needs of the client and the project, which is what you want in a construction professional.

8.

A bachelor’s degree in the area of architecture, engineering, or related fields is not required to become an architect.

But it is strongly recommended to take a BA in architecture or engineering as a prerequisite for obtaining an architecture license.

9.

The profession of architect has an established, highly-paid and respected professional hierarchy.

Architectures typically include senior members of the profession who also work in other related fields such as building or planning.

For this reason, you should look for a profession in the architecture industry that has an appropriate hierarchy and that is well-respected.

You could find a profession that has a senior level hierarchy in the engineering and construction industry or in other high technology fields.

10.

The occupation of a computer engineer in a high-profile project is not uncommon.

The work in these high-stakes projects is highly-technical and requires considerable skill, especially if the project involves a major public-service infrastructure project.

Therefore, the job description for a computer scientist or software engineer in an infrastructure project is typically similar to a construction engineer.

11.

Architecturally trained students from different fields are more likely to graduate with the same degree as computer scientists and engineers.

This may be because the skills they possess in engineering and computer science are more
